The results of the citrate test on colony type 2 from the MacConkey agar plate are shown in the tube on the TOP. Some of the colony was streaked onto the surface of a Simon's citrate tube and incubated at 37C overnight.
What does this result mean?
A. The bacteria are citrate-positive.
B. The bacteria are citrate-negative.
