E. PYR and CAMP tests
Yes, the PYR and CAMP tests are now used to differentiate beta-hemolytic streptococci - Streptococcus pyogenes (Group A strept) from other beta-hemolytic streptococci that sometimes cause disease such as Group B strep (S. agalactiae). They have supplanted the bacitracin test.
There is also a rapid test that could be used. Pick that test out, too.
